This weekend we checked out some of the arcades for kids in the Atlantic City casinos. The first one we visited was in the Tropicana. We are very familiar with this casino yet we had a problem finding it and finding an employee who could lead us in the right direction. Once we found an employee who could tell us where it was, it was easy to find.
If you come into the casino off of the boardwalk keep going towards the right on the bottom   Starbucks on your right side, walk towards the back and go out the doors.  Walk directly across the street, it is the covered valet area and through the next set of doors.  This is the north tower and there you will find The Fun Zone arcade.
This arcade seemed a bit older and perhaps not as kept up as the one in the Golden Nugget. The kids sure didn’t mind either way though and the employees were super sweet and helpful! The bathroom down the ball was locked, you had to go upstairs and we all know how inconveniencing that is with kids.
The games pump out tickets for the kids to win tacky prizes after they are done. We tend to donate ours. I will have to admit that we all had fun using the do it yourself ticket counter!
Our next stop was twofold. We went to the Golden Nugget to see the largest nugget of gold in the world and to checkout their arcade for kids.
They have done a beautiful job with the Golden Nugget and we all enjoyed walking around. The nugget is displayed to the left of the check-in counter. Before you see the nugget you will come to a chocolate factory display that the kids equally enjoyed looking at. Here you can buy some ice cream, sweets, or actual food. In the back of the shop there are tables setup overlooking the casino if you have any curious little ones who want to see what is going on.  

The “gold nugget” is fascinating and huge and it has a great story attached to it.  We were happy we had a chance to see it, although it wasn’t a long visit because the arcade was calling!  The Golden Nugget arcade is just big enough but what it lacks in size, it makes up for in cleanliness.

We found both casino arcades were reasonably priced, most games only required one token, some a bit more.  We were very pleased to find a good percentage only needed the one token though.  Do you know of other Atlantic City arcades for kids?
